Terms and conditions

  1. Eligibility: Participants must be members of the Zoroastrian community. If they are below 18 years of age, they are eligible only with the consent of their parent and/or legal guardian.
  2. Submission guidelines: All video submissions must adhere to the following guidelines:
    1. Duration: Videos should not exceed 2 minutes. This ensures all submissions are concise and comparable.
    2. Format: Submissions should be in widely supported video formats (e.g., MP4, MOV) for ease of review.
    3. Orientation and quality: Videos should be in landscape mode and recorded with clear audio and visuals. High-definition (HD) quality is encouraged but not mandatory.
    4. Performance setting: Submissions should be recorded in a well-lit, quiet environment, free from distractions or background noise.
    5. Vocal/song submissions: All vocal/song submissions must include at least 2–3 lines sung a cappella (without any background music or effects). This segment should showcase the singer’s natural voice to allow for accurate evaluation of vocal quality and technique.
    6. Original content: Videos must feature original performances and any background music or content must not infringe on any copyrights.
    7. Introduction: Please include a short introduction at the start, stating your/your group’s name, location and the talent you are showcasing. The 2 minute limit cited above excludes time spent on the introduction.
    8. Editing and effects: Submissions should avoid heavy editing or special effects that alter the authenticity of the performance.
    9. Submission platform: Videos should be submitted through the form above.
    10. Age appropriateness: Ensure content is suitable for all audiences. Children will be present in the audience.
  3. Selection process: The organisers reserve full discretion in selecting participants for the finals. Submission of a video does not guarantee progression to the next round.
  4. Usage rights: By submitting a video, participants grant the organisers the right to use their content for promotional purposes related to the Congress.
  5. Code of conduct: Participants are expected to maintain respectful and professional behaviour throughout the competition.
  6. Liability: The organisers are not responsible for any technical issues or disputes arising from the submission process.
